Director, Ambipar Response Training Center

Directs strategy and operations at ARTC, a US DOT-based center specializing in hazardous materials response training for transportation and fixed facilities.

Leads research on emerging risks, including lithium-ion batteries, hydrogen, unit trains, and advanced firefighting.

Brings 20 years of hazmat response expertise in the US and Canada, including regulatory oversight for a Class 1 railroad.

Hector Rivera

Bilingual HazMat Instructor

Managed firefighter training in Saudi Arabia under NFPA standards; previously served as CBRN Technician with Washington Metro Transit Police.

Served 20 years with FEMA USAR/VATF-1; deployed as UNDAC manager for disaster logistics and response across Central & South America.

Bi-lingual HazMat instructor at Ambipar, leading the development of onsite CBRN training.
